Air Vehicle Engineer

As a Air Vehicle Engineer you will support development, integration, and testing of air vehicles.

Other Job duties include:

• Develops and reviews documentation for system safety review boards.
• Reviews specifications, designs, and technical data related to air vehicles, control surfaces, control laws, propulsion systems, and stores.
• Edits and review detailed test plans and review test results from system testing.
• Reviews technical requirements, designs, and implementations of aircraft subsystems.
• Coordinates with aircraft and payload developers, test personnel, and safety boards on areas related to system testing to ensure successful delivery of capabilities.
• Reviews technical packages to support verification of requirements

Required Experience:

• 12+ years' experience of relevant Department of War program experience
• Minimum 2 years' experience in SAP and/or SCI environment, with at least 1 year within the last 5 years
• Ability to work on high-visibility, mission-critical aspects of a program and perform all functional duties independently
• Ability to communicate both orally and in writing concisely and with technical accuracy
• Ability to translate complex ideas and data into simple, actionable recommendations or easily differentiated courses of action

Education Requirements:

• Master's Degree in a Engineering discipline or relevant field

Clearance Requirements:

• Active TS/SCI

The pay range for this position is $160,000/year to $210,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on established government contract ranges, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and other factors.
