Role Overview
 
  • Title: System Analyst 3
  • Location: Lansing, MI (Local candidates within a 1-hour drive required)
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Onsite Tuesdays & Wednesdays; 100% onsite for the first month)
  • Interview Process: Onsite interviews scheduled for 09/08, 09/09, and 09/15
The Crux of the Position
 
A dual-impact Business Analyst & QA Hybrid who acts as the team's ScrumMaster. You will bridge business and development teams by gathering requirements, managing Azure DevOps lifecycle boards, building process workflows, and running end-to-end testing.
 
Top Required Skills & Experience (Within Last 5 Years)
 
  • Azure DevOps / JIRA (3+ Yrs): Strong experience creating Epics, Features, and User Stories, and driving cards through the project lifecycle.
  • BA & QA Experience (3+ Yrs): Expertise in gathering requirements, translating specs, executing functional/regression testing, and managing defects.
  • Process Mapping & Roadmaps (3+ Yrs): Designing As-Is / To-Be workflows and product roadmaps.
  • BA/QA Tools (3+ Yrs): Hands-on experience with tools like Figma, Visio, or similar.
  • Agile & Scrum (3+ Yrs): Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, product backlogs, and cross-functional team roles (BA/QA/DEV).
Education & Work Authorization Requirements
 
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the US without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.

  • FTE Conversion: Potential long-term transition into a full-time permanent role.
