We are seeking an Associate Software Developer who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a collaborative engineering environment. This role is ideal for college seniors, entry level candidates, or early-career professionals (under 5 years of experience) who want hands-on experience building modern software solutions.

Other Information
The work hours will be approximately 8:00 am to 5:00 pm EST, depending on workload, with the occasional late night when a tight deadline calls for it. We work for security-conscious clients, thus background checks will be required. Salary dependent upon experience.

Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of software applications with guidance from senior engineers
- Write clean, maintainable code using modern JavaScript technologies
- Assist with building and integrating APIs and backend services
- Support applications running in cloud environments such as Azure or AWS
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging efforts
- Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and non-technical stakeholders
- Follow best practices for version control, documentation, and secure coding
- Support deployments, fixes, and enhancements across development environments
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
- 0-5 years of software development experience (internships, co-ops, and academic projects included)
- Experience with modern JavaScript (e.g., ES6+, React, Angular, Vue, or Node.js)
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies
- Comfortable working with diverse teams, including hands-on and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to manage time, priorities, and feedback in a fast-paced environment
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform is a plus
- Coursework or background in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is a plus
- Background in competitive, team-oriented environments (e.g., college athletics) is valued
