Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Automation Engineer with strong expertise in GitLab CI/CD, Shell Scripting, Terraform Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and YAML scripting. The ideal candidate will automate deployment pipelines, support API and microservices deployments, and improve DevOps processes across cloud environments.

Required Skills (Must Have)

  • Strong experience with GitLab CI/CD
  • Expertise in Shell Scripting (Bash)
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
  • Experience writing and maintaining YAML configuration files
  • Experience deploying REST APIs and Microservices
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipeline automation
  • Experience with Git version control
  • Linux/Unix administration experience

Good to Have

  • Experience with Kubernetes deployments
  • Experience with AWS Cloud
  • Docker containerization
  • Helm Charts
  • Monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch)
  • Jenkins or other CI/CD tools

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
  • Automate application build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Develop automation scripts using Shell scripting.
  • Build and manage infrastructure using Terraform IaC.
  • Deploy and manage REST APIs and Microservices.
  • Write and maintain YAML configuration files for CI/CD and Kubernetes.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline software releases.
  • Troubleshoot deployment issues and optimize automation workflows.
  • Implement DevOps best practices for security, scalability, and reliability.
  • Support cloud infrastructure and containerized applications.
