Job Description

Senior IT Administrator | Norderstedt, Germany | Hybrid | €60,000 - €80,000

The Role

  • Operating and advancing the system landscape with a focus on Windows environments.
  • Administering a highly available Microsoft Windows Server environment (versions 2016 and 2019, virtualised on Microsoft and ESXI).
  • Implementing OS and software deployment, and patch management for Windows clients.
  • Ensuring backup and recovery processes are maintained.
  • Supporting Windows applications, analyzing, and resolving any issues.
  • Contributing to the development of IT security guidelines.
  • Setting up and managing the telecommunications environment.
  • Installing and administering the client environment, including on-site support.
  • Providing user support for software and hardware questions and conducting user training.

What You'll Need

  • Successfully completed IT vocational training, a computer science degree, or comparable qualification.
  • Practical experience in the administration of Windows domains and networks, as well as VMware and Hyper-V.
  • Strong solution-orientation, initiative, and ability to work independently and responsibly.
  • Enjoyment of teamwork.
  • Ability to independently learn and find solutions to problems, involving specialist departments.
  • Fluent German (C1) and basic written and spoken English skills.
