Job Description

Netzschutztechniker / Inbetriebnahmetechniker Umspannwerke m/w/d | Elsterwerda, Germany | Hybrid We're hiring on behalf of a leading European energy services provider, a key player in the renewable energy sector. The Role • Commissioning and testing of medium, high, and extra-high voltage substations up to 380kV. • Analyzing and resolving faults in protection and control systems with expert teams. • Configuring and parameterizing high-tech protection and field control devices from leading manufacturers. • Performing precise commissioning of digital protection and control technology using state-of-the-art testing equipment. • Contributing to the successful implementation of energy transition projects, including grid connections for industrial, wind, and solar parks. • Collaborating effectively with project management, planning, and installation teams. What You'll Need • Completed vocational training in electrical engineering. • Proven expertise in protection/control technology, ideally with experience in commissioning switchgear. • Familiarity with communication protocols like IEC 60870-5-101/103/104. • Proficiency with configuration software such as Siemens DIGSI 4/5, Schneider MICOM S1, and OMICRON Test Universe is a plus. • Strong teamwork, communication skills (excellent German required), and a responsible approach. • Valid driver's license (Class B) and willingness to travel (typically Monday-Thursday).
