About the Role -

• We are seeking a hands-on Sr. Cloud Engineer Google Cloud Platform Cloud to own the end-to-end architecture deployment and operational resilience of our Google Cloud Platform
• In this role you will act as both a strategic architect and a hands on builde
• You will lead the platform from Day 0 greenfield setup to production ready infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code establish robust Site Reliability Engineering

Key Responsibilities

• Day 0 Google Cloud Platform Architecture SetupEstablish enterprise grade Google Cloud Platform landing zones from scratch including Organization Structure IAM and Security controls.Design and execute core cloud networking VPCs Shared VPCs, Firewalls and Private Service Connect Infrastructure as Code AutomationWrite, test, and maintain 100% automated infrastructure code using Terraform for reproducible multi-environment setups.
• Build automated CI/CD pipelines for seamless infrastructure and service deploymentsSRE, Observability Reliability Engineering
• Establish SRE frameworks from the ground up defining SLIs SLOs SLAs error budgets runbooks and automated incident response
• Architect full-stack telemetry and observability solutions using Google Cloud Operations Suitealong with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry or Datadog.
• High Availability Resiliency Disaster RecoveryDesign and implement Multi-Zone and Multi-Region architectures with Active-Active/Active-Passive deployment models.
• Engineer automated failover mechanisms, capacity planning, and fault-tolerant systems to meet strict RTO/RPOSecurity & Identity ManagementDesign and enforce enterprise-grade auth frameworks, including OAuth 2.0 OpenID Connect SAML and Zero Trust access controls.
• Google Cloud Platform Expertise 6-8+ years designing operating and automating production environments on Google Cloud Platform.
• Proven Track Record Proven experience leading at least 3 enterprise-scale production projects built on Google Cloud Platform from inception through post-launch managementTerraform Mastery
• Deep expertise building complex Google Cloud Platform environments exclusively through custom Terraform modules and automated IaC pipelinesSecurity Networking Strong grasp of Google Cloud Platform VPC architecture, Security Posture Management IAM Secrets Manager, and KMSDevOps Scripting Proficient in Python, Bash, Docker, and modern CI/CD toolsCertifications Google Cloud Platform Professional Cloud Architect credential preferred
