Job Description

SOAZ- Phoenix, AZ - IT - AZDOR - Agency Support Division (ASD) - Developer - Senior .Net Applications Developer- 12899-(Hybrid/Local)

Contract: At least 1 Years from projected start date

Rate: $62/hr on W2 (All Inclusive) and $72/hr on 1099/C2C

Location: 600 W. Monroe, Phoenix, 85007

Tentative Shift Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.00 AM to 5.00PM (40 Hours/Week).

Closing: 7/27/2026 @ 4:00 PM

• Tentative start date will be dependent upon interviews conducted, onboarding completed, and the state agency issuing a PO.

Required Skills

AI Application Experience: A minimum of 1 to 2 years of professional software development experience hand-coding and building application logic using AI-assisted engineering tools specifically GitHub Copilot and VS Code AI Extensions and programmatically developing enterprise application features with AWS Bedrock and Anthropic Claude

Minimum of eight years programming experience, at least three of which in development

Strong proficiency in the use of MS Visual Studio, C Sharp (C#), Java Script, ASP.NET, REST principles, AzureDevOps and/or TFS

Proficient in the use of a PC in a Windows environment. Office Applications such as Outlook, Word and Excel, PowerPoint; and in the use of Google Suite applications such as Gmail, Sheets, Docs, and Drive.

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field

Position Summary:

The Senior Applications Developer (.NET Development Team) develops, analyzes, troubleshoots, and supports .NET-based applications, which are responsible for Arizona Department of Revenue tax accounting systems. As part of the .NET Development Team, this role will be responsible for the design and development of client and/or server solutions in order to meet required business needs.

 

Requirements

Education & Experience

?             Bachelor’s degree (e.g., B.A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

?             Minimum of eight years programming experience, at least three of which in development

?             Previous experience designing and developing client/server solutions

?             AI Application Experience (Required): A minimum of 1 to 2 years of professional software development experience hand-coding and building application logic using AI-assisted engineering tools (specifically GitHub Copilot or VS Code AI Extensions) and/or programmatically developing enterprise application features with AWS Bedrock and Anthropic Claude.

?             AI Application Competency (Required): Demonstrated ability to hand-code application logic while leveraging AI-assisted environments (GitHub Copilot , VS Code AI extensions) and programmatically developing application integrations with AWS Bedrock and Anthropic Claude.
