Information Assurance Engineer III

We are STS Government Solutions (SGS), a government contracting and consulting firm supporting several military installations and federal agencies across the nation. We are currently supporting a new mission in San Antonio, TX and seeking additional team members to join our team. SGS is seeking a Information Assurance Engineer III for a new effort at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, TX.

What You'll Do:

• Manages and oversees all aspects of cyber security for onsite systems.
• Identifies security risks, threats, and vulnerabilities to systems and networks and implements necessary security measures to nullify those threats.
• Analyzes organization's network and systems security measures and updates them as necessary to maintain security compliance.
• Assists in the updating and maintaining of organization's security documentation including policies, standards, and best practices.
• Records incidents and reports them to upper management.
• Ensures the integrity and protection of networks and systems through implementation of secure policies and procedures.
• Educates organization's employees on standards and best practices to mitigate risk of data exposure.

What You Bring:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 5+ yrs of recent relevant experience
• Certifications: CISSP-ISSMP or GSLC or Legacy CCSP or CISSP.
• TS/SCI Clearance
