General Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine inspections, testing and preventative maintenance on Sprinkler Systems (including wet, dry, and pre- action systems) and Fire Pump testing.
  • Maintain a NICET certification in Inspection and Testing of Water-Based Systems.
  • Conduct routine inspections, testing and preventative maintenance on Fire Alarm systems.
  • Follow and maintain a highly structured inspection schedule and complete all assigned inspections on time.
  • Using our cloud-based software and mobile app, input, retrieve and archive inspection reports and documents.
  • Identify and report deficiencies found during system inspections.
  • Exhibit excellent customer service skills by consistently communicating with company staff and customers to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • The ability to learn technical manuals.
  • Extensive knowledge low voltage systems, fire alarm systems and installation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read installation and system manuals.
  • Ability to read blueprints and building plans.
  • Extensive knowledge of electrical and fire codes.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools to install hardware.
  • Experience in Fire Alarm and low voltage installation required.
  • NICET certification or other vocational training/certification preferred.
  • Related fire protection experience preferred.
