The Clean & Pack Specialist is responsible for material web removal, visual inspection, sorting, and packaging of orders in accordance with established operational and material standards and ensure all customer packaging specifications and quality expectations are met or exceeded.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow work instructions, job specifications, and packaging requirements as assigned
  • Accurately record job start times and completion times, material usage, and label requirements
  • Prepare finished parts or products for packaging, including trimming, cleanup, and visual inspection for obvious defects
  • Monitor product quality during packaging activities and report quality concerns or discrepancies to supervision promptly
  • Temporarily pause packaging or sorting activities when quality issues are identified; follow escalation procedure as necessary
  • Maintain organization and proper rotation of materials and finished goods in accordance with FIFO and inventory control practices
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment throughout the shift
  • Adhere to all safety, security, and operational procedures
  • Meet or exceed established productivity, efficiency and quality targets
  • Cross-train and provide support to other departments as needed to meet production schedules and deadlines
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience working in a computer-based environment with business or ERP software
  • Basic math skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Continual use of hands; constant standing, walking, reaching, bending, pulling and lifting
  • Clear close vision and ability to identify and distinguish color variations
