Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Paralegal with experience in UK Family Law to support a busy legal team. This is a fully remote role ideal for candidates with strong organisational skills, legal research capabilities, and a solid understanding of UK family law procedures.
You will play a key role in case preparation, client communication, and document management, ensuring smooth progression of cases and excellent client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist solicitors with case preparation across divorce, child custody, and financial remedy matters
- Draft legal documents including witness statements, court applications, and correspondence
- Conduct legal research on UK family law regulations and case precedents
- Manage and organise case files, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation
- Liaise with clients, courts, and third parties in a professional and empathetic manner
- Support with court bundle preparation and filing procedures
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Assist with administrative tasks to ensure efficient case progression
- Prior experience as a Paralegal in UK Family Law (essential)
- Strong understanding of UK legal procedures, particularly family court processes
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Experience drafting legal documents and correspondence
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively
- Proficiency in legal software and document management systems
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Law degree or equivalent legal qualification preferred
