Inthisrole,youwillleadarchitectureworkonclientprogrammes.Youwilldesignandoverseeend-to-endtechnologysolutionsthatarescalable,secure,user-centred,andethicallyresponsible.Thisroleinvolvestranslatingbusinessneedsintotechnologysolutions,creatingarchitectureartefacts,andsupportingclientstomakesustainableanduser-focusedtechnologychoices.

Youmightbeaspecialistinaparticulartechnologydomainorplatform-suchaslegacysystemmigration,m365,Azure,GCP,AWS,dataplatformsorintelligentprocessautomation-butyouwillapplyatechnologyagnosticperspective.

You'lloperateasatrustedadvisor,oftenleadingsmallerengagementsorplayingaseniorroleonlargerones,butmayalsoworksoloorcontributeasamemberofateamasneeded.Youwillbethesourceoftechnicaloversightandadviceforthewiderteamandfortheclient.

Youwillalsosupportthedevelopmentofjuniorcolleagueswhilecontributingtopracticeimprovementandbusinessdevelopment.

Responsibilities

• Leadprojectworkstreamsorsmall/mediumclientengagementsintechnologyengagements.
• Collaboratewithclientteamstoaligntechnicalsolutionswithorganisationalstrategiesanduserneeds.
• Defineandcommunicateend-to-endsolutionarchitecturesforprogrammesandservices,translatingbusinessanduserneedsintoscalable,ethical,andmaintainabletechnicaldesigns.
• Conductthoroughtechnicalassessmentsandprovideactionablerecommendationsfordecision-makers.Explainthepotentialimpact,costs,benefits,andrisksofrecommendations.
• Supportclientarchitecturegovernance,ensuringalignmentwithenterprise,data,andsecuritystandards
• Contributetodeliveryplanningtosupportagileproductdevelopment.
• Facilitatearchitecturedecision-makingwithclients,balancingstrategicandtacticalneeds.
• Producehigh-qualityartefactsroadmaps,diagrams,architecturemodels,andwrittenbriefs.
• Createartefactssuchastechnologyroadmaps,optionsappraisals,andarchitecturediagrams.
• Communicatecomplextechnicalinformationtonon-technicalstakeholders.
