Position:  Design Engineer
Location:  Nashville, Tennessee  - (on-site)
Contract:  3+ months

Job Description:

Location :  Elm Hill Pike in Nashville, Tennessee.
Contract Dates: September 14 – December 4, 2026
Hours: 40+ hours per week, with flexible arrival between 6–8 AM
Open Positions: 9

Key requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience designing automated assembly systems
  • Advanced proficiency with SolidWorks (required)
  • Experience with Windchill (preferred)
  • Strong mechanical engineering and automation design knowledge
  • Experience with custom automated assembly equipment
  • Ability to independently own designs from initial layout through detailed component development
  • Strong understanding of mechanical principles and component selection
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal oversight
  • Experience participating in formal design reviews and incorporating technical feedback
  • Strong focus on design accuracy, manufacturability, safety, and project requirements.
