Embedded Test Automation Engineer(NI VeriStand to Python experience)

Legacy Test Script Modernization

The engineers will be responsible for:

• Converting legacy test scripts developed using NI VeriStand to Python.
• Using the newly developed Python scripts to validate planned product changes targeted for next year.
• Strong knowledge of CAN (Controller Area Network) is required.
• Experience with electronics and embedded product development is preferred.
• Exposure to test fixture development would be an added advantage.

Additional Data Points:

- Strong embedded programming experience with proven skills in configuring and working directly with peripherals.

- Protocols: Solid understanding and hands-on experience with protocols like CAN bus.

- Python Scripting: Strong working knowledge of Python for scripting and automation.

- NI VeriStand Knowledge: Familiarity or basic working knowledge of NI VeriStand scripts, with the ability to use them as a reference point for test automation.

Both roles and the person have to be onsite 5 days a week in Michigan.
