VIDA Health is an organisation within the Victorian Infrastructure Delivery Authority (VIDA), delivering the Victorian Government's multibillion-dollar health infrastructure program under our public-facing brand, the Victorian Health Building Authority (VHBA). VIDA Health is responsible for the rollout of the Victorian Government's multi-billion-dollar health capital projects.

The Opportunity

The Executive Director, Technical, Design, Assurance and Planning Services (TDAPS) collaborates across the organisation and is accountable for taking a whole of system perspective. Reporting to the CEO, the Executive Director provides multidisciplinary leadership across technical services, design and assurance, pipeline development, procurement, land, property and planning functions. A key goal is to drive innovation in front-end planning, create value through design principles including standardisation and capturing best practice.

You will bring exceptional executive judgement, relevant health infrastructure knowledge, strong reform and system thinking, and the credibility to influence across government, health services, industry partners, consultants, contractors and community stakeholders.

As a values-driven leader, you will join a high-performing ELT and contribute in a collective way for the benefit of the whole organisation, build trust across the system, support your teams to achieve high performance, drive reform and provide authoritative advice to the CEO, Ministers and senior government decision-makers.

This senior executive role (SES2) will suit an established, agile and driven systems thinker who can deliver stewardship, translate strategic ideas into practical outcomes, and create the conditions for quality design and planning outcomes in health infrastructure that meet current and future community needs.

Health sector experience is highly desirable.
