Job Summary
Our pharmaceutical client is seeking a Senior Analyst – Data Quality & Automation (Material Master) to join its Data Team. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of enterprise master data across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data quality, supply chain master data, SQL, automation, and reporting, with the ability to collaborate across multiple business functions to drive data governance and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute day-to-day data quality operations, including data profiling, validation, cleansing, reconciliation, and monitoring activities.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve data quality issues by performing root cause analysis and coordinating corrective actions.
- Support automation initiatives by developing and maintaining automated workflows using tools such as Power Automate, Python, RPA, or ETL platforms.
- Create and maintain data quality dashboards, scorecards, KPIs, and reports to measure data health and identify improvement opportunities.
- Partner with Supply Chain, Operations, IT, and cross-functional business teams to understand data requirements and improve master data quality.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), data standards, process documentation, and knowledge repositories.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise data governance standards and support continuous process improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor''s degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Data Quality, Data Management, Master Data Management (MDM), or Supply Chain Analytics.
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL for data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with automation technologies such as Power Automate, Python, RPA, ETL tools, or similar workflow automation platforms.
- Solid understanding of Supply Chain processes and Master Data domains, including Material Master, Bill of Materials (BOM), and Inventory.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple business teams.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA, Master Data Governance (MDG), or other MDM solutions.
- Knowledge of Data Governance principles and best practices.
- Experience with Power BI or other Business Intelligence and reporting tools.
- Lean Six Sigma certification or familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies.
