The Opportunity

StaffRight Associates is recruiting for a well established real estate investment firm to source an exceptional Finance Manager for their growing team in Greater Boston. Managing a substantial multi-fund asset portfolio across diverse sectors—including life sciences, senior housing, industrial, and retail—our client maintains a track record of stellar investment returns and rapid organizational expansion.

In this critical, high-visibility role, you will lead accounting oversight, valuation analysis, and financial reporting across direct real estate investments and complex fund structures. Serving as the primary financial partner across enterprise divisions, you will drive key accounting strategy, execute closing processes, and shape cross-functional operations in a sophisticated, growth-oriented environment.

What You'll Do

• Oversee comprehensive quarterly and annual financial statement preparation across fund vehicles, utilizing Yardi-based fair value accounting under U.S. GAAP principles.

• Evaluate complex promote structures, management fee models, and non-recurring transactions involving ownership transfers or partial asset sales.

• Audit investment and fund activities continuously to ensure full adherence to foundational governing agreements and regulatory standards.

• Investigate emerging technical accounting guidance to determine operational applicability across the firm's real estate holdings.

• Forecast fund-level liquidity requirements while directing the timing and execution of capital calls and investor distributions.

• Partner with deal teams to facilitate seamless financial execution for asset acquisitions, property dispositions, and debt refinancings.

• Coordinate external engagements with fund administrators and audit partners to streamline year-end reviews, deliverables, and queries.

• Engage joint venture operating partners to secure granular accounting detail, supporting accurate reporting and fair value valuations.

• Mentor junior financial analysts through continuous professional development, constructive feedback, and direct operational leadership.

• Champion continuous workflow optimizations by leveraging modern technology tools and artificial intelligence enablement strategies.

• Synthesize custom financial reporting deliverables and address specialized inquiries for institutional investor partners.

What You Bring

• 5 to 8 years of progressive financial accounting experience within the real estate sector, ideally focused on a Real Estate Manager or Investment Fund Platform.

• Bachelor Of Science In Accounting; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credentials strongly preferred.

• Deep expertise in Real Estate Valuation, Portfolio Operations, and Financial Reporting.

• Prior background in Fund Accounting, Fund Reporting, or Public Accounting (candidates transitioning directly from Big Four firms are encouraged to apply).

• Working familiarity with Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) and associated operational models.

• Demonstrated proficiency in Fair Value Reporting, U.S. GAAP, and complex Promote Calculations.

• Practical exposure to Yardi software platforms is highly advantageous.

• Proven track record in Process Improvement, Information Technology, and Artificial Intelligence enablement.

• Active knowledge of and passion for Financial Markets and complex Financial Products.

Compensation & Total Rewards

• Target Base Salary: $130,000 – $150,000 annually (commensurate with experience).

• Incentive Plan: Eligible for performance-based annual bonus and company profit-sharing.
