Electrical Service Engineer
Location - Heysham Power Station (primary location)
Are you an electrical engineer who enjoys variety in your working week?
Do you like the mix of hands-on fault-finding, small projects and routine maintenance?
Fancy a role with genuine overtime earning potential when out-of-hours support is needed?

Paid overtime for out-of-hours work, including enhanced rates for evening, weekend and bank holiday callouts
What will you be doing?
Carrying out routine maintenance tasks such as site surveys, technical audits, system health checks, spares management, obsolescence reporting, disaster recovery work and system upgrades/patching
Helping customers fault-find and resolve issues by phone, web or email, and attending site for emergency repairs where needed, including out-of-hours work on a rota basis
Completing service reports and other project documentation as required
Where you'll be doing it?
You'll be joining a business with decades of experience in advanced system integration, working across some of the UK's most highly regulated and technically demanding industrial environments, including energy, water, renewables and manufacturing. You'll be part of a team supporting a range of clients, with work varying between small projects, maintenance and reactive support.
What you'll need:
A good electrical engineering background
Current driving licence
PLC/RTU or similar control systems experience (desirable)
Ability to gain SC clearance
Good communicator, well organised, and able to work well under pressure and to deadlines
Willingness to attend customer sites individually and as part of a team
Willingness to undertake out-of-hours work on a rota basis
