Functional Safety Engineer (Process Control Systems) £48,000 - £52,000 (Overtime OTE 65K) + £7K Car Allowance + Hybrid + 10% Bonus + 12% Pension + Training + Progression Warrington, CheshireAre you a Functional Safety Engineer, or someone with knowledge of IEC 61508 or 61511 standards from a Control Systems background looking for a rare opportunity to join an International OEM working with the cutting edge of Technology?Do you want the opportunity to earn excellent overtime and benefit from home working 2 days a week with every other Friday off?In this role, you will support the design, configuration and commissioning of Safety Instrumented Systems across industrial, manufacturing and process environments. This will involve working from a Warrington based office 2-3 days a week. The team work on a compressed fortnight, meaning you will have every other Friday off work.This international OEM are world leaders in intrinsically safe and redundant Controls Systems. They are widely regarded worldwide for working on the most complex of projects, bringing to market fully integrated safety controllers, modular distributed control systems and unique instrumentation.

This role would suit Functional Safety Engineer or similar from a Process Control Systems background looking for a technically challenging role for the global leader in Safety Instrumented Systems.The Role:

• Designing, Configuring and Commissioning Safety Instrumented Systems
• Training on bespoke DCS software
• Working away from home as much as 1 week in 4
• Hybrid working, 2 days from home per week
• Compressed fortnight work pattern - every other Friday off work
• 37.5 hour week

The Person:

• Functional Safety Engineer, or experience work to IEC 61508 or 61511
• Process Control Systems background
• UK Drivers License
