Senior Data Architect-NYC(Onsite/W2)

Senior Data Architect
Location: at least 2-3 days/week in office at either New York City or Albany office.
Immediate interviews and start after fingerprinting clearance.
“We are looking for a senior Data Architect. The candidate should have 10+ years experience with Data Lake/Data Analytics/Data Strategy."

Job duties:
Elicit data related business goals and objectives from OTDA and OCFS.
Establish a data architecture roadmap for the program.
Establish and implement a data lake and analytics reference architecture for the program.
Manage the data implementation plan for the three main IES Workstreams.
Develop a reporting and analytics product that will be utilized by OTDA and OCFS.
Create an implementation framework that the 3 workstreams can follow to utilize the data products.

Required experience and skill include:
Developing data solutions from requirements gathering to post-production operation.
Development of technology roadmaps and project plans.
Development of detailed architecture documentation, including architecture models and specifications.
Implementation mission critical data systems on wither Databricks and/or AWS.
Excellent communication and writing skills.
