Job Description

About us

HammondCare provides expert aged care, home care, dementia care and palliative care for older people, regardless of circumstances, beliefs, background or financial situation. We are led by our not-for-profit, Christian foundations and backed by research and clinical expertise. When it comes to our people - those we serve and those who serve - we are committed to inclusion across race, culture, ethnicity, gender, sex, sexuality, religion and ability. In our innovative residences, our hospitals, or in client homes, we aim to set the global standard of relationship-based care for older people with complex needs. We've been caring for people for over 90 years - so, if you love to care, join us, and make a career move that matters. It's not just care, it's HammondCare.

About the Opportunity

HammondCare is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to lead the delivery of critical technology infrastructure projects across our hospitals, aged care homes, community services, and corporate sites. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of complex infrastructure initiatives that directly support care delivery, operational resilience, and organisational growth. From site upgrades and network modernisation through to cloud, communications, workplace technology, and major facility projects, you'll play a key role in ensuring HammondCare's technology foundations remain reliable, secure, and fit for the future. A significant focus of this role will be supporting strategic site initiatives, including major infrastructure and technology works at Greenwich Hospital and other key HammondCare locations. Reporting into the Technology team, you'll lead the end-to-end delivery of infrastructure projects across a diverse and geographically dispersed environment. You'll work closely with infrastructure engineers, architects, cyber security specialists, operational leaders, facilities teams, vendors, and contractors to coordinate technology outcomes that support both clinical and business operations. This is a hands on delivery role for someone who thrives on solving complex problems, managing multiple stakeholders, and bringing structure and momentum to infrastructure delivery. This is a maximum term contract for 12 months based at St Leonards with hybrid working opportunities.

What you will be doing
  • Leading end-to-end delivery of infrastructure projects across networks, cloud services, end-user technology, communications, cyber security, and core technology environments
  • Managing technology activities associated with site refurbishments, relocations, upgrades, and new facility developments
  • Coordinating project plans, budgets, timelines, risks, dependencies, and delivery milestones
  • Working closely with clinical, operational, facilities, and technology teams to ensure successful implementation outcomes
  • Managing vendors, contractors, and technology partners to deliver quality outcomes
  • Planning and coordinating site readiness, cutovers, migrations, and transition activities
  • Ensuring projects meet governance, security, compliance, and operational requirements
  • Providing clear reporting, communication, and stakeholder engagement throughout project delivery
  • Supporting the successful transition of solutions into ongoing operational support

We care about your wellbeing at HammondCare and as a result offer a wide range of health and lifestyle benefits including:

  • NFP salary packaging ($15,900 tax free) plus meals and entertainment benefit (up to $2,650 tax free)
  • Additional leave purchase options and 14 weeks paid parental leave
  • Flexible working options, including hybrid arrangements
  • Discounts on everyday products and services
  • Discounted healthcare memberships - access to network of fitness centres and pools for employees and families
  • Free access to independent counselling support for employees and families
  • Health & Wellbeing programmes
  • Reward & Recognition programmes
  • Referral bonuses
  • Career and professional development opportunities
About you
  • At least 10 years hands on experience delivering technology infrastructure projects within healthcare, hospitals, aged care, or similarly complex service environments
  • Experience supporting major facility upgrades, building projects, or site deployments
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience solving complex problems with innovative solutions
  • Dynamic "can do" attitude
