AI Software Engineer – GenAI / LLM / Python

Job Summary

We are looking for an AI Software Engineer to design, develop, and deploy intelligent software applications powered by Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and modern machine learning technologies.

The ideal candidate will have strong software engineering fundamentals along with hands-on experience building AI-powered applications using Python, LLM APIs, RAG, APIs, and cloud technologies.

You will work closely with product, engineering, and data teams to develop scalable AI solutions and integrate AI capabilities into real-world business applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy AI-powered software applications.
• Build applications using Python and modern AI/ML frameworks.
• Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) into production applications.
• Develop Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions.
• Work with LLM APIs such as OpenAI and other commercial or open-source models.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs and backend services.
• Build AI-powered automation, intelligent search, recommendation, and conversational applications.
• Work with vector databases and embedding technologies.
• Develop prompts and evaluate LLM responses for accuracy, relevance, and reliability.
• Implement AI agents and workflow automation where appropriate.
• Clean, process, and prepare data for AI/ML applications.
• Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, product managers, and business stakeholders.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Perform testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Deploy and monitor AI applications in cloud environments.
• Stay current with emerging developments in Generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, and machine learning.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in software engineering, AI engineering, machine learning, or a related field.
• Strong programming experience with Python.
• Strong understanding of software development principles and object-oriented programming.
• Experience working with REST APIs and backend services.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI or Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Experience working with LLM APIs and AI application development.
• Understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) concepts.
• Experience with SQL and databases.
• Familiarity with Git and modern software development practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
