Staff Accountant

Our client, a leading organization in the Vending sector, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team in a permanant position. As a Staff Accountant, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting the accounting and financial reporting functions. Working directly with the Controller.

Job Title: Staff Accountant On-Site 

Location: Tampa, FL

Pay Range: $60000 - $75000

Shift: Full Time – In Office, 8AM to 5PM Monday-Friday (Times may vary as business needs dictate)

What's the Job?

• Manage daily general ledger entries and support month-end closing activities 
• Reconcile daily cash receipts and manage bank deposits
• Review, research, and clean-up aged open items to ensure accuracy
• Assist with vendor setup, payments, and data analysis using vending and micro-market software platforms
• Prepare financial reports, perform account reconciliations, and analyze financial data for unusual trends

What's Needed?

• 3 years experience closing month end independantly.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting or financial experience with increasing responsibilities ( REQUIRED) 
• Proficiency in MS Office products including proficiency in  Excel (NEEDED)
• Experience with QuickBooks Online and SAP Business One ( a PLUS) 
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with a focus on accuracy and detail
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or finance
