About the Opportunity
Our client is a leading global investment banking platform with a strong presence across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. The firm provides strategic advisory and capital markets solutions to corporates, financial sponsors, governments, and institutional investors across a broad range of sectors.
The Industrials team advises clients on mergers and acquisitions, leveraged finance, equity and equity-linked financings, restructurings, and recapitalisations. The team is seeking both Analysts and Associates to support transaction execution and client advisory activities across the Industrials sector.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct in-depth quantitative and qualitative analysis of companies, industries, and market trends.
- Perform financial valuation analyses, including DCF, trading comparables, precedent transactions, and LBO analysis where applicable.
- Build, maintain, and analyse complex financial and operating models.
- Prepare client presentations and transaction materials, including pitch books, valuation materials, information memoranda, management presentations, and marketing documents.
- Support the execution of M&A, financing, and strategic advisory transactions.
- Assist in managing due diligence processes and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Compile and maintain financial databases, market intelligence, and sector research.
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, and conference calls.
- Monitor industry developments and prepare sector updates and market commentary.
- Work closely with senior bankers and product partners on live transactions and business development initiatives.
- A bachelor's degree, master's degree, or equivalent academic qualification.
- Relevant investment banking, corporate finance, transaction advisory, or related experience.
- Strong financial modelling and valuation skills.
- Solid understanding of corporate finance, M&A, and capital markets transactions.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- A proactive, collaborative, and team-oriented approach.
- 1–3 years of relevant investment banking or transaction experience.
- Demonstrated exposure to financial modelling, valuation, and transaction execution support.
- 3–5+ years of relevant investment banking or transaction experience.
- Proven experience managing workstreams, mentoring junior team members, and taking a leading role in transaction execution and client deliverables.
