Job Description

Job Title and Skill Level: Business Analyst-Level II

Job location: Albany Job Location - 40 N Pearl St, 4th Fl, Albany, NY, 12207

Telecommuting: 50%

Anticipated Duration of the Engagement: 31 months

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct requirements gathering with subject matter experts and stakeholders.
  • Analyze business processes, business rules, and stakeholder needs to support an Integrated Eligibility System.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to analyze and define business needs.
  • Develop functional requirements that align with organizational goals and project objectives.
  • Apply technical architecture expertise to support the analysis and development of technology solutions.
  • Facilitate collaboration among stakeholders and project teams to ensure business needs are understood.
  • Recommend process improvements based on business and process analysis.
  • Support the successful delivery of complex technology initiatives.
  • Ensure proposed solutions align with organizational goals and project objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Mandatory Qualifications:

1. Level II- Between four (4) and seven (7) years of experience as a Business Analyst

2. ​Between four (4) and seven (7) years of client focused business and requirements analysis experience and documentation including: working on a team of BAs, conducting requirements gathering sessions, analyzing requirements gathered, Identifying, documenting, and validating system requirements for continuous integration and deployment, preparing proposals for best fit technology based on requirements elicited.

3. ​Minimum of two years working in an Integrated Eligibility System Program in various workstreams including Child Support in a Health and Human Service settings.

 

Desirable Qualifications:

1. ​Between four (4) and seven (7) years of experience identifying, documenting and validating system requirements across multiple agencies, including working on a modernization work extracting and documenting legacy system logic and business rules with a focus on the Human Service Child Support domain.

2. ​Between four (4) and seven (7) years of experience conducting business process analysis and optimization, documenting As-Is and proposing To-Be web-based client facing applications. 

3. ​Between four (4) and seven (7) years of creating requirements documentation (process flows, user stories, wireframes, specifications) while adhering to pre-established templates within a requirement management tools like Blueprint.
