Satellite Systems Software Engineer Level 5 with Security Clearance

Indotronix is seeking an Onsite Job: Satellite Systems Software Engineer Level 5 Work Location: El Segundo, CA Shift: 1st Shift (8:00 AM 4:30 PM) Clearance: Active DoD Secret Clearance Required Job Description: * Develop and maintain requirements, architecture, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for high-performance Command and Control (C2) software solutions. * Lead software development activities using Scaled Agile methodologies within a DevSecOps environment. * Integrate software components into fully functional satellite software systems. * Support customer demonstrations, technical reviews, and program/IPT leadership briefings. * Perform Product Owner and Technical Leadership responsibilities for software products. * Provide software architecture, design guidance, and technical direction. * Support Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) by managing development schedules, integration efforts, and cost baselines. * Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver mission-critical satellite software solutions. Must Haves: * Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Data Science, or related STEM field. * 14+ years of related experience (or Bachelor's Degree with 18+ years of directly related experience). * Active DoD Secret Clearance. * U.S. Citizenship (required to maintain DoD clearance eligibility). * 5+ years of experience in systems engineering or software development for space-based or ground-based systems. * 3+ years of experience leading software development projects. * 3+ years of software development experience using Java, C++, or Python. * Experience with Flight Dynamics, Client Analysis, Satellite Management Systems, or Ground Control Management. * Experience working in Agile and DevSecOps development environments. Preferred: * Experience as a Product Owner or Technical Lead. * Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases. * Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka or ActiveMQ. * Experience with data streaming technologies such as CCSDS. * Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. * Experience designing and implementing GitLab CI/CD pipelines. * Experience supporting FQT, FAT, and SAT testing activities. Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline with 14+ years of related experience, or Bachelor's Degree with 18+ years of directly related experience. Active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
