Netzschutztechniker / Inbetriebnahmetechniker Umspannwerke m/w/d | Neuruppin, Germany | Hybrid This employer is seeking a skilled technician to contribute to groundbreaking energy infrastructure projects within Northern Germany. Join a team dedicated to modernizing substations and driving the energy transition. This role involves hands-on work on projects ranging from medium to extra-high voltage levels, directly impacting the achievement of climate protection goals. The Role • Commission and test electrical installations for substations up to 380kV, including systems for renewable energy. • Analyze and resolve faults in protection and control technology systems, collaborating with expert teams. • Program and parameterize high-tech protection and field control devices from leading manufacturers. • Utilize advanced testing equipment for the precise commissioning of digital protection and control technology. • Work collaboratively with project management, planning, and assembly teams. • Support the energy transition by working on projects in energy transmission/distribution and grid connection for industrial, wind, and solar parks. What You'll Need • Completed vocational training in electrical engineering. • Proven experience and expertise in protection/control technology, ideally with independent commissioning of switchgear. • Familiarity with common communication standards (IEC 60870-5-101/103/104). • Proficiency with parameterizing software (e.g., Siemens DIGSI, Schneider MICOM) and testing software (e.g., OMICROM Test Universe) is advantageous. • Strong teamwork, decision-making, and communication skills with excellent German language proficiency. • Valid driver's license (Class B) and willingness to travel (typically Monday-Thursday).
