Pay Rate: $17/ hour - Use our Daily Pay benefit and get access to your pay as you need it.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Floor Care Technician to maintain the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of carpets, floors, and upholstery throughout the resort.
As the Floor Care Technician, you will:
- Cleaning carpets and floors in rooms and public areas of the resort.
- Clean carpets, upholstery, floors and room accessories to remove effects of smoke and water damage such as dirt, soot, stains, mildew and excess water moisture.
- Must wax and strip floors as needed.
- Operate portable commercial carpet, upholstery and interior cleaning machines.
- Ensures that proper safety signs are set up prior to performing floor cleaning activities.
- Places fans and dehumidifiers in strategic room location to remove moisture from carpets, upholstery and air.
- Verifies moisture presence and removal with moisture sensor.
- Spray or fogs carpets, upholstery and accessories with fabric conditioners and protectors, deodorizers and disinfectants.
- Inspect completed restoration to ensure conformance to standards.
- Assists in training of fellow employees in the department.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be able to regularly lift, pull, push and or/move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to lift and move furniture safely.
- Ability to stand and move for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
