Senior SAP Hybris / Commerce Cloud Developer – E-Commerce Platform

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP Hybris / SAP Commerce Cloud Developer to design, develop, customize, and enhance an enterprise-scale e-commerce platform.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris), Java, Spring Boot, Spartacus, Angular, and modern e-commerce architectures. This role requires experience building scalable, high-performance online shopping platforms capable of supporting high transaction volumes and complex integrations.

Required Experience

●      8+ years of overall software engineering experience.

●      5+ years of hands-on development experience with SAP Hybris / SAP Commerce Cloud.

●      Strong experience designing and developing enterprise-scale e-commerce applications.

●      Experience supporting high-volume, highly available production environments.

Search & Integration Technologies

●      Solr and/or Elasticsearch.

●      RESTful APIs.

DevOps & Cloud

●      Git and source control best practices.

Key Responsibilities

●      Design, customize, develop, and extend the SAP Commerce Cloud / Hybris platform.

●      Develop and maintain Spartacus-based storefronts integrated with backend services.

●      Build custom Hybris extensions, workflows, APIs, and integrations.

●      Integrate the platform with payment gateways, ERP systems, logistics platforms, inventory systems, and other third-party applications.

●      Develop scalable e-commerce capabilities across checkout, cart, search, pricing, promotions, inventory, and order management.

●      Troubleshoot complex production issues and perform root-cause analysis.

●      Optimize application performance, response times, and platform scalability.

●      Support environments processing high transaction volumes and thousands of orders per minute with low latency.

●      Ensure platform reliability, scalability, availability, and maintainability.

●      Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.

●      Support cloud deployments, production releases, and post-production issues.

●      Collaborate with product, architecture, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams.

Preferred Qualifications 

●      SAP Commerce Cloud Certification.

●      Experience with microservices architecture.

●      Experience with event-driven architecture.

●      Hands-on experience with Kubernetes.

●      Front-end development experience with:

●      Angular

●      TypeScript

●      Spartacus

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a senior-level SAP Commerce developer who combines deep Hybris/SAP Commerce Cloud expertise with strong Java/Spring development experience and has worked on large-scale, high- traffic e-commerce platforms. Experience with Spartacus storefront development, complex enterprise integrations, performance optimization, and high-volume transaction environments will be highly valuable.
