As a Licensed Clinician with Thrive Alliance Group, you’ll provide therapeutic services that support the social-emotional and mental health needs of students in K–12 settings. You’ll work collaboratively with educators and families to promote insight, growth, and resilience, helping students overcome challenges that impact their learning and well-being.
What You’ll Need
Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field
Active New Jersey Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) licensure.
Knowledge of developmental theory, evidence-based interventions, and family systems
Strong communication, documentation, and crisis intervention skills
Commitment to continued professional development and best clinical practices
What You’ll Do
Conduct individual, group, and family psychotherapy sessions to support student and family growth
Provide crisis assessments and interventions during emergent school-day situations
Complete biopsychosocial assessments, treatment plans, progress reports, and discharge summaries
Maintain accurate clinical documentation, including updates for IEPs, I&RS, and 504 plans
Collaborate with educators and administrators to provide consultation, clinical insight, and staff support
