Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Data Architect to lead enterprise data architecture initiatives and design scalable, secure, and high-performance data platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud, data engineering, data modeling, and modern data architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of enterprise data architecture, data models, and data platforms.
• Define data strategies, architecture standards, governance, security, and integration patterns.
• Design scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, data lakes, lakehouses, and data warehouses.
• Architect cloud-based data solutions using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and architecture guidance to data engineering teams.
• Drive data platform modernization, optimization, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Establish standards for data quality, lineage, security, and governance.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions aligned with enterprise objectives.

Required Skills

• 14+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, or related roles.
• Strong expertise in SQL, data modeling, ETL/ELT, and data warehousing.
• Extensive experience with cloud data platforms and enterprise data architecture.
• Strong knowledge of Databricks, Snowflake, Spark, or similar platforms.
• Experience designing batch and real-time data processing architectures.
• Strong understanding of data governance, security, quality, metadata, and lineage.
• Excellent technical leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Strong experience with Python/PySpark.
• Experience with Data Lake, Lakehouse, and Data Mesh architectures.
• Knowledge of Kafka or other real-time streaming technologies.
• Experience with Collibra, Alation, or similar data governance platforms.
• Experience leading large-scale cloud migration and data modernization initiatives.
