Responsibilities:
* Provide technical solution
* Design and develop scalable backend services and RESTful APIs
* Work on frontend integration with Angular
* Write and maintain automated test suites (UI, API & BDD)
* Drive TDD/BDD practices across the team
* Participate in code reviews, technical design, and sprint planning
* Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
Required Skills:
* 15+ years of Java development and technical lead experience
* Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA
* RESTful API design and development
* gRPC — service definition, Protobuf, client/server implementation
* Angular (component development, services, RxJS)
* SQL and relational database experience
* Microservices architecture
* Git, CI/CD pipelines, Agile/Scrum
* AI Tool knowledge
Testing & Quality:
* TDD — test-first development, red-green-refactor cycle
* BDD — Cucumber, Gherkin feature files, step definitions
* JUnit 5 — unit and integration test automation
* Playwright — end-to-end UI test automation
* Mockito, Test Containers
AWS:
* Lambda, SQS, SNS, S3
* RDS / Aurora
* API Gateway
* ECS / EKS
* CloudWatch for monitoring and logging
Good to Have:
* Java 17/21 features (Records, Sealed Classes, Virtual Threads)
* Docker / Kubernetes
* Kafka or any event streaming platform
* Terraform / CloudFormation for IaC
Soft Skills:
* Strong problem-solving ability
* Good communication and collaboration skills
* Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
