FPSO Operations Equatorial Guinea
Are you an experienced Maintenance Superintendent with a strong FPSO background and a passion for operational excellence? We're seeking a dynamic leader to take ownership of maintenance strategy and execution on a producing offshore asset in Equatorial Guinea.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, integrity, and performance of complex offshore production systems while leading a multidisciplinary maintenance team in a challenging and rewarding environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead all maintenance and condition-monitoring activities onboard the FPSO.
Champion a strong safety culture through strict adherence to HSE policies, permit-to-work systems, risk assessments, and management of change processes.
Manage preventative, corrective, and shutdown maintenance programmes to maximise asset availability.
Ensure compliance with Class, Flag State, and regulatory requirements.
Oversee maintenance planning, inventory management, and spare parts control through CMMS systems such as AMOS.
Coordinate and supervise contractor, vendor, and project personnel.
Support incident investigations, audits, inspections, and corrective action close-out.
Drive cost awareness and maintenance efficiency initiatives.
Develop, mentor, and assess maintenance personnel to ensure competency and performance excellence.
Act as a key member of the offshore leadership team, collaborating with all departments to optimise production performance and reliability.
Proven experience as a Maintenance Superintendent on an FPSO, FSO, offshore production facility, or similar hydrocarbon processing environment.
Strong knowledge of offshore maintenance management, asset integrity, and reliability principles.
Experience managing multidisciplinary maintenance teams across mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and control systems.
Demonstrated understanding of Permit to Work systems, isolations, risk assessments, and safety management processes.
Experience working with maintenance management systems (AMOS experience highly regarded).
Strong stakeholder management and contractor supervision capabilities.
Degree or HND in a relevant Engineering discipline; or
Chief Engineer Officer certification (STCW III/2) or equivalent marine engineering qualification.
Offshore and marine industry certifications relevant to the role.
Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
