Job Description

  • Strong experience providing operating system administration support of RedHat Linux, particularly in a large-scale (5000+ servers) enterprise environment
  • SME expertise on performance troubleshooting and server builds, good knowledge on LVM concepts, server patching, Vendor coordination,
  • Hands-on experience using scripting (any language) to solve daily problems, generate reports, and automate tasks
  • Server Monitoring and ticketing tool and change management.
  • Hands-on experience using scripting (any language) to solve daily problems, generate reports, and automate tasks
  • Performance troubleshooting and SSH , SFTP
  • Server builds OS installation and kick start
  • Setting file permissions
  • Changing file owner & group
  • User account creation
  • Create SSH key for user accounts
  • LVM (Logical volume manager) concepts & configuration to create LVM
  • Server Monitoring and ticketing tool and change management
  • Patching activities
  • Vendor coordination and knowledge in remote data center management
  • VMware L1 level skills
  • Installing & Configuring NFS (Network Filesystem) server
  • LVM (Logical volume manager) concepts & configuration
  • FTP (File transfer protocol) server setup
  • Apache configuration
  • Virtual host configuration
  • Log file analysis and RedHat case tracking
Mandatory Skills: Linux Admin .

 

Experience: 5-8 Years .

 


 

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience.
