Job Description/ Responsibilities

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Solution Design & Strategy: Develops high-level Azure blueprints, including networking, storage, compute, and security, ensuring they align with business objectives.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Acts as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to identify requirements and technical constraints.

Governance & Security: Enforces security controls and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, PCI DSS) within the architecture.

Cloud Migration & Modernization: Assesses, plans, and executes the migration of on-premises workloads to Azure.

Technical Leadership: Mentors developers and IT staff, providing best practices and technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

Cost Management: Evaluates pricing models and manages cloud resources to optimize costs and performance. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6]

Required Technical Skills & Competencies:

Deep knowledge of Azure services (e.g., VMs, SQL, Kubernetes).

Expertise in Azure networking, security, and identity management.

Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like ARM templates or Terraform.

Expertise in Designing and Architecting as required for the Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.

Strong understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
