Job Description

DFM Solutions is seeking an HR Labor Supervisor to lead employee and labor relations efforts that support our industrial and commercial clients. In this role, you will oversee day-to-day HR activities related to workforce planning, performance management, investigations, and policy application across maintenance and reliability-focused operations. You'll advise supervisors on complex employee issues, ensure compliance with labor and employment regulations, and help refine HR processes that align with asset management and facility improvement initiatives. Working in a collaborative, data-driven environment, you'll partner closely with consultants and project teams, gaining exposure to advanced reliability strategies while contributing to a culture of professionalism, integrity, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily HR labor relations activities for industrial and commercial client accounts
  • Advise managers on employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary actions
  • Interpret and apply labor laws, regulations, and company policies to complex workforce issues
  • Support workforce planning, staffing coordination, and onboarding processes for client sites
  • Lead investigations into employee complaints, conflicts, and policy violations
  • Develop and refine HR processes that support reliability, maintenance, and facility operations
  • Maintain accurate HR records, metrics, and reports to support data-driven decisions
  • Collaborate with consultants and project teams on labor-related aspects of asset management projects
  • Coach supervisors on effective communication, documentation, and conflict resolution
  • Support change management and continuous improvement initiatives in HR and operations
