We are looking for AV Technician for our client in Austin, TX.
Job Title: AV Technician

Job Type: Contract
Job Overview:
Pay Range $30.19hr - $35.19hr
Requirement/Must Have:
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Typically has 5 to 7 years of related work experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications including Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Basic understanding of networking and network protocols.
- Extensive knowledge of video infrastructure and endpoint equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate, maintain, and upgrade video conferencing equipment.
- Utilize ServiceNow for incident tracking, service tickets, and change requests.
- Provide video conferencing event planning production packets.
- Troubleshoot and resolve video conferencing and event service incidents.
- Schedule, setup, and disconnect video conferences for meetings.
- Conduct equipment audits as necessary.
- Follow defined processes and ensure adherence by the team.
- Produce Run of Show documents and attendance reports.
- Collaborate with operations and support teams to improve efficiencies.
- Partner with the software engineering team to develop internal video monitoring tools.
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with media encoders similar to Wirecast and OBS.
- Experience with Zoom Meetings and Webinar, Teams Meetings, and Cisco WebEx.
- Basic scripting or web-development aptitude (e.g., Python or JavaScript).
Skills:
- Strong time management, prioritization, and analysis skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Comfort working with data-driven monitoring and reporting.
Education and Experience:
- Advanced technical knowledge of audio-visual equipment setup and troubleshooting.
- Experience operating audio and video equipment for live events.
