Job Description: Location: Corby

Pay Rate: £13.21 per hour + Overtime (paid at time and a half)

Shifts: 4 on / 4 off rotating days and nights (6am - 6pm & 6pm - 6am)

the Role

We’re currently looking for Production Operatives to join our growing team in Corby. As a key member of our production team, you’ll play an important role in helping us meet production targets while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

You’ll work across various departments including Mixing, Slice & Wrap, and Despatch, ensuring our products are produced, packaged, and dispatched to meet customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Work efficiently on the production line to achieve daily targets

Carry out regular quality and safety checks, ensuring products meet company standards

Operate machinery safely and report any maintenance issues to your Team Leader

Maintain excellent housekeeping standards, keeping your area clean and tidy

Support your team to ensure smooth and efficient production

Follow all company procedures relating to food safety, health & safety, and hygiene

Department-Specific Responsibilities

Mixing

Produce products to agreed specifications while minimizing waste and downtime

Ensure correct care and running of all machinery and equipment

Complete all process and quality checks accurately

Slice & Wrap

Ensure products are sliced and wrapped to specification with minimal waste

Use correct coding, labels, and packaging for each product

Monitor and change slicing blades safely and in line with instructions

Despatch

Collate and load orders accurately and on time for delivery

Check all product labels and packaging match customer requirements

Maintain stock rotation, hygiene, and housekeeping in the loading area

What We’re Looking For

You don’t need to have previous experience in manufacturing - full training is provided. What matters most is your positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work well as part of a team.

If you have experience in a fast-paced production or warehouse environment, that’s a bonus!
