DevOps Engineer £500 per day (Inside IR35) 6 Month Contract Fully Remote Active SC Clearance Required

We are currently seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join a large-scale public sector transformation programme. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a highly skilled engineering team, supporting the delivery, automation and optimisation of cloud-based platforms and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate infrastructure deployment and configuration management.
• Support cloud-based environments and platform reliability.
• Collaborate with development, architecture and security teams.
• Implement monitoring, logging and performance optimisation solutions.
• Drive DevOps best practices across delivery teams.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and deployment issues.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Strong DevOps engineering experience within complex enterprise environments.
• Proven experience with AWS cloud services.
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or Azure DevOps.
• Containerisation and orchestration experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Scripting experience using Bash, Python or PowerShell.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
• Strong understanding of security best practices and cloud-native technologies.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Requirements:

• Active SC Clearance is essential and must be transferable.
• Ability to start at short notice preferred.
• Previous public sector experience highly desirable.

• £500 per day Inside IR35
• 6 Month Initial Contract
• Fully Remote
• Active SC Clearance Required
