JOB SUMMARY
Vaco is currently seeking a PowerBI Developer (w/ Snowflake) for a 16M+ Contract opportunity that is remote. The PowerBI Developer will support an enterprise reporting modernization initiative focused on migrating and developing Power BI reporting assets aligned with standardized Snowflake semantic models. The PowerBI Developer will focus on building enterprise reports and dashboards, validating KPIs and business metrics, supporting UAT, and ensuring consistent, trusted reporting across the modern analytics platform.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Power BI Reporting Development – Designing / Developing / Enhancing Enterprise Power BI Reports / Dashboards / Interactive Analytics Solutions
• Snowflake Reporting – Developing Power BI Reporting Solutions using Snowflake Data Sources / Views / Semantic Models, etc.
• Advanced DAX Development – Creating Measures / Calculated Columns / Business Calculations / KPI Logic Supporting Enterprise Reporting
• Power BI Data Modeling – Building / Maintaining Power BI Tabular Models / Datasets Supporting Scalable Reporting Solutions
• Enterprise Semantic Models – Developing Reporting Assets Utilizing Standardized Semantic Models / Business Definitions / Consistent Reporting Logic
• Reporting Migration – Migrating Legacy Reporting Assets to Modern Power BI Solutions Supporting Enterprise Reporting Modernization
• Business Metrics / KPI Validation – Validating KPIs / Measures / Business Calculations / Reporting Accuracy Against Approved Business Definitions
• Data Validation / Reconciliation – Validating Report Outputs / Reconciling Business Metrics / Ensuring Reporting Accuracy Across Enterprise Reporting Assets
• Report Validation / UAT – Supporting UAT / Troubleshooting Reporting Issues / Resolving Defects / Partnering with Business Users During Report Validation
• Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partnering with Business Stakeholders / Data Engineering / Data Architecture / Analytics Teams to Deliver Trusted Reporting Solutions

• MS Fabric – Supporting MS Fabric Reporting / Analytics Solutions
