IT Support Engineer (IT, Infrastructure, Hardware, Laptops, PC Building, On-boarding, O365, Active Directory, Azure, Migration) - Permanent Bournemouth

Charles Simon Associates are looking for an IT Support Engineer on a permanent basis for one of our well established clients who have sites across Europe. This role would be based in Bournemouth, however there will be travel with this role on a weekly basis to different sites.

Location: Bournemouth with travel to other sites

Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum plus £5k Car Allowance

Skills/Requirements for the IT Support Engineer:

• Previous experience in similar role is vital
• Strong O365 experience
• Onboarding of new starters with Logins, Hardware and tech support
• Extensive Active Directory
• Ability to troubleshoot network issues remotely
• PC & Laptop building to specification
• Hardware support of Printers and other hardware products

Start date is ASAP for the IT Support Engineer

The IT Support Engineer will be responsible for:

• Providing both 1st and 2nd Line Support to users both remotely and face to face
• The onboarding of all new employees from an IT perspective, getting their logins set up in active Directory and O365, providing them with their Laptops or PCs built to spec
• Assisting the wider IT team in the delivery of business critical projects including software upgrades and rollouts
• Traveling to sites in order to provide proactive maintenance and upgrades to both hardware and software
• Assisting in the tracking and recording of the companies infrastructure assets to ensure that infrastructure and data is kept secure at all times
