Azure Databricks Developer - AI Builds

Looking for an experienced consultant to spearhead a large-scale enterprise data warehouse (EDW) modernization initiative. This role supports AI builds related to migration from a 20- year-old SQL-based EDW to Databricks. Plan is for Full re-engineering of ETL pipelines and data models rather than a simple "lift-and-shift" migration.

 

Requirements & Qualifications

 

Experience: 8–10 years in software development and deployment, with at least 7 years of hands on experience in SQL, Databricks, and ETL tools.

Technical Stack: Platforms: Databricks, Azure Data Factory (ADF), DataStage.

Languages: Advanced SQL and Python (specifically for raw data processing and Kafka ingestions). BI & Tools: Knowledge of SSAS cubes, Cognos, Tableau, and Thoughtspot.

 

Skills: Expertise in API data ingestion, No-SQL databases, and designing scalable data architecture for BI systems.
