Multi Skilled Engineer – Temporary – Exeter We're recruiting on behalf of a national FM provider for a Multi Skilled Engineer to work within a commercial environment in Exeter. This is a temporary role working Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:00.

About the Role:

Our client is looking for a Multi Skilled Engineer to carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a commercial site, ensuring building systems and services are kept running safely and efficiently. This is a great opportunity for a Multi Skilled Engineer with a broad fabric/mechanical/electrical skillset to pick up ongoing temporary work with a well-established provider.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance across mechanical, electrical, and fabric building services<br />Complete general building fabric repairs (doors, locks, ceiling tiles, basic joinery/plumbing tasks)<br />Undertake minor electrical tasks such as lamp/fitting replacement and fault-finding on lighting circuits<br />Carry out mechanical tasks including plumbing repairs, unblocking drains, and general M&amp;E maintenance<br />Respond to reactive call-outs and resolve faults promptly to minimise disruption<br />Complete all necessary paperwork, permits, and Risk Assessments/Method Statements for tasks undertaken<br />Log and update completed works accurately on the CAFM/maintenance system<br />Maintain plant rooms and work areas in a safe, clean, and tidy condition<br />Liaise with site management and other engineers to ensure smooth day-to-day operationsWhat You'll Need: Recognised trade qualification (electrical, mechanical, or building services) or equivalent NVQ<br />Proven multi skilled engineering experience within a commercial FM environment<br />Strong fault-finding ability across a range of building services disciplines<br />Own tools and, ideally, a full UK driving licenceWhat's on Offer: Immediate/ongoing temporary work with a national FM provider<br />Competitive hourly rate<br />Consistent Monday-Friday hours, no weekend work<br />Opportunity to build a long-term working relationship with a leading FM businessIf you're a Multi Skilled Engineer based in or around Exeter and looking for temporary work, apply today
