Job Title: UI/UX Designer & Architect

Location: Remote

Duration: / Term: Contract

Job Description:

The Design/Development Team Leader will lead and coordinate the design and development workstream for the Performance Measurement initiative. This role is accountable for ensuring the design and development plan is clear, integrated with overall project leadership, and actively managed against scope, schedule, risks, issues, and dependencies.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day design and development planning, coordination, and execution of the development team in support of the performance management program.
  • Maintain a clear and integrated design/development plan aligned with project leadership priorities and executive reporting needs.
  • Partner closely with project leadership to communicate progress, issues, risks, dependencies, and potential schedule variances.
  • Ensure design, development, data, and business activities are coordinated across teams and sequenced effectively.
  • Drive collaboration across technical resources, business stakeholders, project managers, and senior leaders.
  • Identify impediments early and actively manage resolution or escalation.
  • Provide timely updates and clear status reporting to support leadership communications and decision-making.
  • Help ensure the team is prepared for a highly involved and time-sensitive phase of project delivery.
  • Ensure frequent interaction with Program Manager

 

Required Qualifications

  • Experience leading design, development, analytics, reporting, dashboard, or technology delivery workstreams.
  • Strong project coordination and execution management skills, including planning, dependency management, issue management, and schedule tracking.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with senior leaders, project sponsors, business partners, and technical teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate multiple workstreams and maintain alignment across business and technology stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to operate effectively under time-sensitive delivery conditions.
  • Ability to provide transparent, concise updates on progress, risks, issues, and schedule impacts.
  • Ability to understand situations that require senior leadership escalation
  • 7+ years of experience delivering executive dashboards, operational reporting platforms, or business intelligence solutions.
  • 7+ years of experience in financial services (large banking institutions), operations, performance management, and regulated enterprise environments.

 

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in Agile, hybrid, or cross-functional delivery environments.
  • Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Power BI, Tableau, ServiceNow, or comparable delivery and reporting platforms.
