Senior SAP Functional Consultant - Materials Management (MM)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP MM Functional Consultant to join our ECC to S/4HANA conversion project, contributing from the discovery phase through hypercare. The ideal candidate will possess proven S/4HANA migration experience and a deep understanding of MM simplifications introduced in S/4HANA, including mandatory Material Ledger activation, inventory management on HANA, and MRP streamlining. This role requires the ability to lead fit-gap workshops, drive configuration decisions, manage data migration activities, and collaborate across functional and technical teams to deliver a successful conversion.

Required Qualifications

•       Bachelor''''s degree or equivalent

•       7+ years hands-on SAP MM functional consulting experience

•       Minimum 2 full-lifecycle ECC to S/4HANA conversion projects in a lead MM role

•       Deep knowledge of S/4HANA MM simplifications, including mandatory Material Ledger activation, changes to inventory management on HANA, and MRP simplifications

•       Experience with material master and vendor master data migration using SAP Migration Cockpit, LTMC/LTMOM, or LSMW

•       Hands-on experience configuring account determination (OBYC), valuation, and split valuation in S/4HANA

•       Strong understanding of procure-to-pay process integration with FI/CO and WM/EWM

•       Experience with SAP Activate methodology

•       Proficiency writing functional specifications and collaborating with ABAP developers on RICEFW objects

•       Excellent communication skills and ability to manage competing project priorities

•       Strong ownership bias and ability to meet milestone deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

•       SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP S/4HANA Sourcing and Procurement (current version preferred)

•       Experience with SAP Ariba integration or SAP Central Procurement

•       Familiarity with SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) in an S/4HANA context

•       Experience with SAP SRM or transition to S/4HANA sourcing capabilities

•       Prior consulting experience in a project-based delivery model with a system integrator
