The Opportunity

Our client's Corporate and M&A practice is one of the most respected in the world and has a client base that includes many of the world's leading companies including more than half of the Global Fortune 500 and many of Australia and Asia Pacific's most innovative and successful companies. Their expertise includes advising clients on public and private M&A, disposals, demergers, joint ventures, funds management, private equity, competition / antitrust law, real estate, foreign investment and on capital markets.

This is a superb opening to join an Elite law firm seeking an enthusiastic Associate to join their renowned Corporate team in Sydney.

The ideal candidate:

• 2- 3 PQE (UK scale)
• Sound experience working in Corporate, Mergers and Acquisitions, PE transactions
• Enthusiastic, emotionally intelligent and demonstrates a keen interest in the clients' businesses
• Recognised as producing innovative and commercial solutions for their clients
• Proactive in identifying issues and able to work with clients in solving them
• Able to engender confidence in clients and collaborate with them
• Understand how to deliver a transaction to clients that meets their objective in a time critical manner
• Demonstrate excellent managerial skills for client relationships and the ability to deepen and enhance existing relationships
• Top tier firm experience and outstanding academic track record
