Job Description

Job Title: React Frontend Developer / Full Stack Java Developer
Location: Westerville, OH 100% Onsite, 5 Days/Week
Rate: $65/hr on W2
Employment: W2 Only
Relocation: Candidates open to relocation will be considered

Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Java Full Stack Developer with strong coding experience in Java/Spring Boot, along with hands-on experience in React, JavaScript, Node.js, AWS, and cloud deployments.

The ideal candidate will be a strong software engineer who can develop scalable applications, work with cloud-native technologies, and contribute to frontend development using React. The candidate should have strong knowledge of AWS services, Docker/Kubernetes, database technologies, resiliency, performance testing, and scripting.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience with Java development and coding
  • Strong experience with Spring Boot
  • Experience developing frontend applications using React.js and JavaScript
  • Experience with Node.js
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, particularly:
    • ECS
    • S3
    • Lambda
  • Strong understanding of Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with cloud deployments and cloud-native applications
  • Strong scripting/programming capabilities
  • Experience working with NoSQL databases; SQL database experience is also acceptable
  • Good understanding of application resiliency, scalability, and performance
  • Experience with resiliency testing and performance testing
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex application and production issues
  • Strong understanding of software development, deployment, and CI/CD practices

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java/Spring Boot
  • Develop and enhance frontend components using React and JavaScript
  • Build and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services
  • Deploy and manage applications in AWS cloud environments
  • Work with Docker/Kubernetes for containerization and cloud deployments
  • Work with NoSQL/SQL databases and optimize application performance
  • Implement highly resilient and scalable applications
  • Perform and support performance and resiliency testing
  • Troubleshoot application, deployment, and production issues
  • Collaborate with development, QA, DevOps, and cloud teams
  • Write clean, maintainable, and production-quality code
