Job role: GoLang AI Developer

Type: 20-40 hours/week
Summary:
Client initiative that has shifted from Agentforce to a primarily Golang-based AI agent implementation. The developer will work directly with Salesforce engineering under client guidance to build an AI-powered solution supporting quarterly access reviews, evidence validation, and Slack-based workflow communications.
This is a hands-on Senior Golang Developer role, with the most important differentiator being real production experience building AI agents or LLM-powered applications. The candidate must be able to clearly explain an agent they personally built, including the architecture, orchestration, tools/function calling, data/context flow, integrations, and their specific contributions.
Responsibilities:
- Write production-quality Golang code for backend services and APIs.
- Build and integrate AI agent capabilities supporting the quarterly access-review workflow.
- Design agent workflows involving LLMs, tools, services, APIs, context, orchestration, and structured outputs.
- Integrate the AI agent with existing enterprise services and data sources.
- Work with the Claude Gateway for enterprise LLM access.
- Build backend/agent capabilities behind an existing evidence-review user interface.
- Develop integrations with Slack and Slack APIs for reminders, notifications, communications, and potentially agent interactions.
- Support workflows that evaluate access information and submitted evidence during quarterly reviews.
- Build scalable services and integrations within a cloud-native environment.
- Participate in development, testing, technical discussions, troubleshooting, and delivery.
- Collaborate closely with Salesforce engineering and client project/technical team.
- Work independently and communicate technical decisions clearly throughout the development process.
Qualifications:
- Strong hands-on professional Golang/Go development experience.
- Strong backend engineering experience building APIs and/or distributed systems.
- Proven hands-on experience building AI agents or agentic applications.
- Production experience integrating LLMs into real applications.
- Understanding of agent architecture, including:
- Inputs and outputs
- Agent orchestration
- Tool/function calling
- Service/API integrations
- Context and data management
- LLM-driven workflows
- Experience working in cloud-native environments.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals.
- Ability to work directly with engineering teams and independently manage development responsibilities.
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical work clearly.
- Ability to provide concrete examples of personally built AI/agent solutions and explain the architecture and implementation decisions.
Strong Plus:
- Claude / Anthropic experience.
- Claude Gateway or similar enterprise LLM gateway experience.
- Agentic frameworks.
- Slack or Slack API integrations.
- Enterprise workflow automation.
- Security, IAM, access management, or identity systems.
- Kubernetes, Docker, or containerized environments.
- Distributed systems.
- Integrating multiple enterprise services and APIs.
