Senior Sales Associate

Music & Arts seeks a Part-Time Senior Sales Associate to drive sales and deliver outstanding service in our retail store. In this role, you'll guide students, parents, and educators in selecting instruments, accessories, rentals, and lessons, using your product knowledge to recommend the right solutions. You will process sales and rentals, manage POS transactions, support merchandising and inventory, and help maintain an inviting, educational store environment. Collaborating with a student-focused team, you'll promote music education, meet sales goals, and support community and school partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Assist students, parents, and educators in selecting instruments, accessories, rentals, and lessons
• Drive retail sales and meet or exceed store sales goals
• Process purchases, rentals, and returns accurately using POS systems
• Handle cash, credit, and financing transactions securely
• Maintain merchandising standards and organize product displays
• Support inventory management through stocking and cycle counts
• Promote lesson, rental, and repair programs to customers
• Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming, student-focused environment
• Respond to customer questions and resolve basic service issues
• Support local school and community outreach as directed by store leadership
